and the moral of the story is always check the garbage

I'M BANKSZILLA, COMING TO STEAL YOUR KEYS AND MAKE YOU THINK YOU ARE LOSING YOUR MIND!!
I have been looking for the keys to the beemer, mon since yesterday morning when I was in desperate need to get out of the house. I looked and steamed and stewed until Ben came home and repeated the three (although with less steaming and stewing because he had his keys). Finally this morning the garbage was getting ripe for the taking out and Ben mentioned that we better check the garbage and wouldn't you know... KEYS! They were covered with, well, garbage but I'm glad to have found them. Sounds like it's time to put the garbage out of reach of the little 18 month old monster that moved in recently.

This does make me wonder if all the many things on my list of wanted items lost were simply waiting to be discovered in that bucket of filth. I guess it's too late now.

I'm so happy you found the keys! I should have known to tell you to look there because that's where I always find missing shoes and everything else under the sun. I always have that, 'i'm going crazy' feeling, so I understand . . . hope you're doing well.

Man, I can relate! Maddie has been throwing our belongings away for years now. It started with toys, shoes, cell phones... and has since morphed into more of a cups and silverware thing. Fun fun fun!

ours is blocked big time after a certain almost 18month old was taking things out of the trash and spending quality time with them. oh yeah, and our neighbor had his cell phone thrown away and taken out before it was discovered by his baby - so i thought - it's time- gate it up!
