an autobot and a rat

We dressed, we walked, we conquered, and then we ran out of candy for trick or treaters. Benson was the most smiley Optimus Prime that ever walked the earth, and Banks was a very reluctant rat at first, until he figured out that there was candy involved and then he was more excited than Benson. Nana and Grandpa were here to enjoy the fun with us, and we are glad because it really was fun. And everyone (besides Ben, who's family started the tradition) got to experience their first orange dinner (which I sadly didn't get a photo of) and they approved.

Happy Halloween!

Ps. I figured out the photo issue. Chalk it up to quality loss in the conversion from raw to jpeg. Duh.

Awww so cute!! At first I thought the picture of Benson with the teeth and the hands in claw-form was his costume!! hahahaha But both looked great and i'm glad you were able to run out of candy because we had only ONE trick-or-treater come to the door and I had to attack some cute hispanic kids who were walking down the street with the candy when we were leaving. They didn't speak much english and I think i freaked them out a bit....but hey, I still had a lot of candy that I didn't want until Christmas.

The boys looks so cute! I thought about doing an orange dinner but just didn't have the energy. I haven't done that yet, but one of these years I may get around to it. Your awesome.

hahaha it's the easiest thing ever, Suz! Grilled cheese, tomato soup, Cheetos, and orange jello. Next year I'll get festive plates and take a picture and eventually I'd LOVE to switch to Aunt Candy's infamous pumpkin-all-together for it.

I saw a LOT of costumes this year, but I have to say... Benson's wins. Hands down.
