it's been a work in progress since mother's day

modeling dress

I designed and crafted this dress and it actually fits! Wahoo! Also by me is the headband, which my dad just looks at and shakes his head.

And I do believe my eyes are closed in this photo. Just don't look at them, k?

benson in tie

I also convinced Benson to wear the tie I made for him (as taught by my sister).

dress details-3

dress details

**Here are a couple of detailed shots, as requested, though the dress is mighty wrinkly from sitting in the dirty clothes since Sunday. <---at first I typed "Sundy" and that made me laugh because that's how my grandma says it. hehe Anyway, thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

Wish I could sew. All I do is thread the stupid machine.
YOu are so talented. That ruffling looks extremely hard. You need to post a pic of your artwork that hangs in your house though.

Oh ya, we're alive. We're just insanely busy still! I'll be on here more in a little while!

Miss you! XOXO

Carrie, your awesome. that is one heck of a dress. I LOVE it! I can't believe you made that without a pattern. I have to have someone telling me what to do. Wow, is all I can say. I'm so impressed.

I love the collar!
where'd you get the dress form?

Carrie said...

Dress form is from PGM, just searched for that online and found them. I really love it! It's not a Wolf, but it also didn't cost me $800. :)
