Uhhhh...
I just walked into the bathroom and Benson was there with his little undies down getting ready to pee into... the garbage can. As soon as I walked in he pulled up his pants and said, "I was just going to pee but now I'm not!" and ran out. I followed him and asked what he was doing in there because it looked awfully suspicious and he said, "I just had this dream to pee into the garbage can." I haven't figured out if it was like a Martin Luther King sort of dream of a man with a chainsaw sort of dream but either way I'm scared and thinking of taking the garbage cans out of the bathroom until he forgets his wonderful dream.
May you all have girls, although they tend to pee into the toilets on display at Home Depot which is much worse (my niece).
On a side note we took some photos today so I swear I'll be back to posts with photos very soon.

genius!
I just found the coolest site! We only have cell-phones and I am constantly losing mine. Like every day constantly. I tend to miss a lot of phone calls because I have to wait until Ben gets home to call my phone. Not any more! I just went to this site and typed in my number and voila! (it was under the couch this morning). I will say I got the end of what may have been a sketchy message, but as long as you don't answer I think you are good to go. And it may have been harmless, it just sounded like a very breathy uh "actress" saying goodbye in a pre-recorded message.

nightmares
The last three nights in a row I've had different people with different weapons (nights one and two a woman with a gun and last night a man with a chainsaw) chasing me to kill me. And the most unusual part: they actually get me! I must have been chopped in half by that dang chainsaw 5 times last night! I swear it shouldn't count as sleep if you wake up in the morning paralyzed with fear/pain/fatigue from running away from the chainsaw guy all night.
Care to interpret, anyone?

pretty much the most exciting news ever
Ben got his first interview! Oh man, we are so excited! This would be a dream dream dream and they only have 45 students in their class so it's a long shot for everyone who applies but WOW. What an awesome thing it would be for Ben to start his medical career in the number one ranked hospital in the country! Yaaaaay, Ben!
*I added a few detail shots of the dress as requested so scroll down to the post below if that tickles your fancy.

it's been a work in progress since mother's day
I designed and crafted this dress and it actually fits! Wahoo! Also by me is the headband, which my dad just looks at and shakes his head.
And I do believe my eyes are closed in this photo. Just don't look at them, k?
I also convinced Benson to wear the tie I made for him (as taught by my sister).
**Here are a couple of detailed shots, as requested, though the dress is mighty wrinkly from sitting in the dirty clothes since Sunday. <---at first I typed "Sundy" and that made me laugh because that's how my grandma says it. hehe Anyway, thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

actual size
We just got this book from Kohls today and we love it! The whole book depicts huge and tiny animals as they are in real life--- Our favorites are the bird eating tarantula (lots of screaming and running) and the teeny tiny goby fish (lots of 'it's so cuuuuuute's). And the best part of it is that it's only five bucks at Kohls (and it's hardback), and they donate all the profits to a kid's charity! Awesome.
