just checking in

This one is random but it gives a glimpse of a typical meal preparation time. I can't remember why Banks is naked.
Gardening (or at least attempting it) with the chickens

Daddy Benson with his babies
Well I just thought I should give an update on the chickens. Obviously they are doing great... they are getting fatter and eating more every day. Benson loves to carry them around the yard. If he could bring them into the house to play with his toys he'd do it in a second. The chickens, while not thrilled with the attention, are surprisingly tolerant of the constant carrying. Today he was carrying the chickens, while pretending to be a chicken. It was pretty funny. Anyway we (well Benson and I anyway) love our chickens and the little bit of companionship they add to our outdoor activities. Today when I was gardening they were nestling right in with me and eating out of my hand. They are great pets and I'm glad we have them.
