just ignore my shadow. i'm still a novice photographer, but i promised my mom a photo of the backpack i made.
Benson is going to joy school this year and he is so excited. He wants to go to school 'just like daddy' and he started to do just that on Tuesday. He still has 2 years until Kindergarten but I already feel it creeping up on me. Anyway he loved his first day and I think he is going to learn so much. I have to admit it is kinda freaking me out that there are 2 1/2 hours of his day that I have no idea what he did/thought/said. I'll get used to it though, right?

cooooolest backpack ever. did you have a pattern or did you just make it up?
i can't believe he is so old. i remember when he was a baby and we took him to olive garden for our monthly girl outing. those were great, too bad they had to end.
awwww LOVE IT!!! I still remember my days in Joy School and they were fun. I hope he has a blast!
what are the details of joy school? does it cost money? how do you find it?
that backpack makes me eagerly anticipate some seriously cool halloween costumes from you, now that fall is here and everything.
and four miles!!! AWESOME!
also, even though i want to know all that about joy school, my husband absolutely does not trust our children to other people, however qualified and i think i will be stuck homeschooling for life.
How fun! I can't wait till my boys go to school.. who knows if Jett ever will.. he won't even go to nursery!!! UGH.
sweet backpack! can you make one an appropriate size for a 24 year old girl? i mean, i'm just curious... and congratulations/condolences on joy school. what a big step.
WOWOWOWOW! that backpack is seriously the coolest... i smell an etsy shop in the making?? ;) i want to make one at least.
I'll post info about the backpack as soon as I have a sec. I'm so excited to see every baby/toddler with an eli the owl backpack!
Okay, you really do need to start an Etsy shop. Seriously. I would buy everything you make. Take advantage of your mad skills and wicked good sense of style. Two words for you sister: Cha. Ching.
(And I SO know what you are going through with the whole school thing. Waaaaa!)
I really like the back pack. You are much more ambitious than I could even imagine to be.
Oh man, I am in a pickle right now about school. I happened upon a preschool I think would be fun for Em, but I don't know WHAT to do! I really want her home, but I get so tired during the day I think she will be so bored. I have to decide pretty pronto.
I agree with Meg, cha-ching! Get on it!
