one by one the penguins steal my sanity

DSC_4248.jpg

I was only about four in when I realized this was a very bad idea. And somehow my exact cross-eyed, dazed look was translated onto the face of each little penguin.

They did elicit cheers from 70 kindergartners this morning when I delivered them, however, so perhaps they were worth it.

post edit: instructions here, and mine look different because I used milk chocolate and giant gumdrops for the heads because those strawberry puffs don't exist in New Mexico. And also because I had a little "helper" sitting on my lap for most of it.

WHAAAAAAT??!!!!??? How are these made? Why are you so cool? Can I please be like you someday??? These are some of the questions going through my mind right now. Tell me more about these. I want to eat a few.

Your wish is my command. I edited the post with the link to the tut. And you are too nice. :)

And even if you only dip marshmallows in chocolate, you should try these. They were sooooo tasty.

They turned out looking so so cute. And I TOTALLY know about having your sanity slip away with every one . . . that was me with the princesses. But my oh my, I did not make 70!

Well, Super Mom, way to go. It is always nice, super nice, really nice to get to the end of these monstrous tasks and be able to bask in the accomplishment. Way to go! You did it and you made some little, now big six year old, so very happy. Sometimes it really is worth all the effort. Love you!
