carving pumpkids

Banks did not want to touch the pumpkin guts

But he did want to kiss the pumpkin

Benson chose a baby pumpkin and cleaned it out by himself

The End

This was Benson's first year carving pumpkins and he loved it. Holidays are so much more fun with kids, and if you have some you know what I mean. Anyway, he drew the face on his pumpkin all by himself and then I carved it but I followed his lines exactly. Doesn't it look awesome?! Then we lit them and put them outside and Benson and Banks sat by the door and looked at them for a good half hour. It's so much fun to see them get excited about traditions.

Look at you in your cute little apron! I don't like pumpkin guts either- I don't know who is going to do it for me since the man won't be around this week.

oh yes, benson's pumpkin is the best one. (with the mama and daddy pumpkins as close seconds) i can't wait to do these things with children because nate loves them so much now, he's going to be even funnier with kids i bet.

Those are pretty cool pumpkins! Benson did great! My kids were bored with it all within 10 minutes of us starting. Sigh...next year.

By the way...Banks looks so old!!!
