Our Fourth was pretty lame. We made ice cream (my family's tradition) and grilled hamburgers and that's about it. Ben and I watched fireworks from our backyard swing and the kids went to bed early. Happy Fourth of July.

at least they wore commemorative patriotic shirts! i love the appropriately sad photo of benson after the bike crash. you are a good mom to make homemade ice cream- way to be :)
sometimes that's better than a big party with a gigantic mess to clean up! we had the little family we have over and me and tim stayed up until 1AM cleaning and taking care of poor sick hyrum again . . . now we're really tired! poor benson, but he looked like he took it pretty well with just a pout and sad sad eyes.

Your little boys are adorable (is adorable appropriate for boys). Looks like you guys had a pretty exciting day making ice cream. Was it young astronaut ice cream? Were you ever in there? Ours was sort of lame too, but enjoyable still. I've never made homemade ice cream. Looks fun though!
